·           We offer the facility for all patients to order online, view and print a list of their repeat prescriptions or medicines and appliances.

·            We offer the facility for patients to view the allergies they have registered with the surgery.

·           We offer the option of checking in for your appointment using the electronic sign in machine to indicate that you have arrived for your appointment, this should avoid you having to wait in a queue to sign in, all the system asks for is your date of birth to identify you.

·           The information on this website is updated regularly by practice staff when new information is needed to be relayed or current information is considered out of date.

·           Services are provided to be able to complete the friends and family test electronically at the Lister House surgery in Wiveliscombe

Plan to meet 2014-15 Contractual Requirement for Patient Online Services

·           We will be implementing the use of GP2GP to transfer patient records when patients move practice. This is currently in development by Microtest but is intended to be rolled out before March 2015.

·           We intend to make use of new Summary Care Record. A Summary Care Record is an electronic record, which contains information about the medicines you take, allergies you suffer from and any bad reactions to medicines you have had. Having this information stored in one place makes it easier for healthcare staff to treat you in an emergency, or when your GP practice is closed. However these daily uploads will not begin at this surgery until the system functionality is made available by Microtest, delivery of this functionality is stated as being by end June 2015.

More information on the Summary Care Record can be seen

at: http://www.nhscarerecords.nhs.uk

We will continue to be proactive and publicise and promote our online services to our practice patients through the practice website, practice waiting room leaflets, posters and the Patient Participation Group.

The clinical supplier is looking to deliver this functionality earlier than specified we will keep you informed of changes as they happen
